Is there a kind of improvisation place for people who want to improve their skills in public speaking, but not the future?

actor. I am 25 years old and a little shy. OT-I improve my skills in public speaking, but does not become an actress. Is there a place like here in Los Angeles?

http://www.toastmasters.org/ have no experience with them, but I'm pretty surprised if it is not present in Los Angeles, and I heard good things about them.
