learning techniques of public presentation?

Hi, I'm new to the seminar presentaion. I have to develop a seminar Hafla Aday and implementation. I have no experience. I am looking for information and found your forum. I also arrived yesterday via a website. I find it interesting that we talk about presentation techniques and use of power point, at the same time. Exactly what I need but I wonder if what they offer is enough .. anyone has experience with them? the presentation of the website is www.powerpoint-power.com thank you in advance for your response.

After reading your information, I think that English is not their 1st language of origin. My first comment is the need for correct spelling and grammar of sentences, basically, taking great care in the preparation and presentation. Small errors that are received by a crowd / audience and can remove the object of their works presented. There are many sources, web, books, etc. on presentation techniques and it is best to do just a little research. However, some comments are given as follows: – Keep your presentation simple! – Make your prayers or slides too complex PowerPoint lose their audience. – Do not create "death by PowerPoint"! – Slide after slide after slide for centuries without presenting different methods and breaks, will shut everybody out and do go to bed. – Never read anything on screen! – The public can read the screen, you need not! using crib cards or memory jogger, you wrote what you mean to keep you in his hand to refresh your memory. – Vary the tone, body language, the volume (a little), sentence length, etc. all help to keep the audience with you, but do not be stupid about it – not spoken in 1 long fundamentally boring. – Nerves – everyone has, at present, 'dry' presentation with a friend and the general public before doing it for real. You have nerves, Just get on with it, if necessary, to get the audience to participate in lead interest, etc. – Finally – all the P's Perfect Preparation Prevents P ** s Poor Performance! Hope that helps, good luck
