public speaking exercises
How to start a club for public speaking and high school students from Middle School?

I want to give a course in public speaking some preparatory and secondary students. I'll call a club public speaking, but will be more like workshops once a week for about an hour. Does anyone know any sites I can go to find a program of study, or maybe just give me some help in the creation various exercises to help students become better public speakers? I want to have fun! Thank you:)

Where are you located? All States and districts are involved in competitive speech tournaments. Here, the events of public speaking would be improvised, spontaneous, and perhaps others. Try to talk with teachers to see if there is speech. If not, the National Forensic League has many resources to help you get started. I know this is not the same thing, but since the league already exists, is educational and students will compete for prizes. This helps extra incentive to really work hard. This site has help for working in "inappropriate" is a case of limited preparation, which asks people to answer a question related to current events in a speech to 7 minutes. There are also curriculum guides. Check the second in contact with someone in your area to begin.
