public speaking strengths

John McCain vs. Barack Obama National Convention speaking?
I'm supposed to make a speech for a class of 100 on Obama and McCain speak in public in the capacity of its conventions. Im supposed to critically analyze and clarify what their strengths and weaknesses as a speaker and gestures / eye contact and volume / speed of their speech. It's so hard for me because I'm not good at analysis. Is there anyone who has been in the two speeches that can help me please with some details? I appreciate it very much.
Hmmmmm …. I looked both McCain and Obama to speak in public conventions. Honestly, Obama is a much better speaker than McCain is. It was emotional, expressive and more coherent McCain has been. McCain speaks more like a robot and if your eyes closed, you can always say he paid more attention to the teleprompter. His eyes focused and only deviated from the teleprompter for more than a few seconds. Obama, however, give the impression that I was not using a teleprompter because of the length of time spent watching in the audience, and Pan as he spoke. When you listen to both of them speak, you realize that it looks like you speak from the heart while the other sounds, as you just read something someone wrote for him and therefore it gives you the impression that someone is more honest than the others. Obama is certainly a better public speaker.
