What forms of public transportation in Shenzhen, China?
I know I can travel by train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen. Is there transportation public in Shenzhen? I do not speak Chinese, but I speak fluent English – do you have difficulty walking. In 2007, I was part of a group tourists who went to Shenzhen. This time we were on a mountain with an English speaking tour guide. On this occasion, I travel alone. Any advice / suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I went to Shenzhen, a couple of times, there are buses, taxis and a metro system, I recommend using the Metro as the best way to scroll the main points of the city and the signs are in both English and Chinese. I found the easiest way to say use the tickets cost between 3 and 7 of the RMB. And if you go somewhere outside of metro routes, its better than someone from your hotel to write the address in Chinese as most taxi drivers speak no English. Bon voyage!
