Does anyone know where I can get a DVD on how to talk about Ukraine?
Hello! I am a second generation Canada and Ukraine, and I really learn this language with two years because I am leaving Canada to go to Ukraine and to see my parents in the family. Does anyone know where I can get a DVD series to help me learn. I can not use software because they does not have a computer, I just used the public library. Besides, I'm not worried about the price either. If nobody knows then I can only reach Russian-speaking and writing for almost the same thing.
If you're not worried about a DVD, try Pimsleur. It all audio CDs, no computer, no books, etc. is not cheap, but it's wonderful, and a course of 30 lessons in Ukraine, at least to start. From here you can have enough of a push to find books and other programs that you want, or even begin to consider and learn on their own. This is the first time I thought, and used Pimsleur, with about a dozen languages. I swear by it. Try it.
